The Future of Software Testing: Exeter University Scholarship Program

Transition Consulting Ltd. is delighted to introduce this year’s Exeter University Scholarship students, two of whom will be joining the company for placements this summer.
From the School of Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics the company have selected Steffan Williams, a second-year Computer Science student; and Martin Westacott who is in his final year of Computer Science studies.
The sports scholarship student, Matthew Leahy, is in the second year of his Business and Economics degree course, and is currently 54th in the Lawn Tennis Association Rankings.
All the students have been given the opportunity to take summer placements with the company, which will provide valuable work experience for the students and may lead to long-term relationships with Transition Consulting, Ltd.
The scholarships offered at Exeter University are part of a program to further strengthen the links between Transition Consulting, Ltd. and centres of academic excellence worldwide. “We’ve been working with TCL for a number of years now and it’s very exciting to see the initiatives which we have worked together on, really taking off +- such as the Sports and Computer Science scholarship schemes. It’s very satisfying to see our students getting a real benefit from the relationships that we develop with businesses and TCL is an excellent example of this,” said Heidi Hallam, Business Relations Manager University of Exeter.
